Julep is one of my favorite
subscriptions! Each month, Julep releases new polish collections and for
$19.95/month, you get either 3 polishes or 2 polishes and a beauty item.
When you sign up, you take a short quiz that helps determine your Maven
Style Profile - that would be the box they'd suggest you choose based
on your personality. But, you can switch between profiles at any time -
I'm Boho Glam, but I switch almost every month! Between the 20th and
24th of each month, box choosing opens up - at this time, you go and
look at that month's colors and products and choose which, if any, box
you want. You can always skip a month if you don't like the colors or
want to work through your current stash - you just have to select the
skip option during the choosing period. You can even choose to upgrade
to the full collection for an additional $35. Once you've made your
choice, the box usually ships within a week and you get your box around
the beginning of the next month.
This was Julep's second anniversary and their theme for the month was The Garden Party.

I normally don't take a picture of the outside of the box, but it was so cute this month! |

Opening the box |
Each month there's a bonus item, and this month the bonus was a packet of forget-me-not seeds. I thought this was a cute little touch. Sadly, I have a black thumb when it comes to gardening, but I might try to plant these somewhere with Emily and see if they grow. She loves flowers.

For my box this month, I chose the Classic With a Twist box, which came with their Doublestep foot treatment and friction stick along with the polish colors Veronica (modern mauve creme) and Sylvia (classic purple creme). I haven't tried the foot stick yet, but the colors are pretty! I also picked up 3 add-ons: Nellie (dark fuschia creme), Lacey (dark blue shimmer), and the Champagne Trio.

Swatches (same order as the picture above) |
I'm really happy with pretty much all of the colors.
Veronica is a bit more orange than I'd hoped it would be - I guess more coral than mauve.
Nan, from a previous month, is somewhat close (though, it doesn't look it on the site) but a tad less pink. Otherwise, though, I love all the other colors!
Sylvia is a great purple. I love purple, so I can't believe I didn't have a straight-up classic purple in my collection before now.
Nellie is a beautiful dark fuschia that I'm also surprised I didn't already have.
Lacey is interesting - in the jar, I can see a slight purple shimmer in the sun. I can't wait to get it on my nails to see if it shows up there, too! Even if it doesn't, I love a good shimmer polish. From the
Champagne Trio, Amity's a light silver metallic (the closest I had was
Rebel, which is a holographic) and Reiko is a pretty rose gold metallic color. Finally, Clio's really pretty. I love a good sparkle polish for accents and this one has silver, pink, and lavender! So pretty!

So, again, I'm really happy with my box and add-ons. Definitely continuing on with Julep. I wonder if I'll start seeing too many similar colors...I am looking forward to fall, though. Bring on the dark colors!! Bring on shimmers and sparkles!! Maybe some more holographics? They do only have 2 so far.
If you'd like to sign up, I'd love it if you'd sign up with

As usual, the link at the top is a non-referral link if you'd prefer

which box and add-ons, if any, did you pick this month?
(And just a disclaimer: I bought this box myself and was not
compensated for this review in any way. All opinions are my own. The
final link is a referral link, but I also included a non-referral link
at the top.)
